If you’re looking to replace the hardware for the clamp attaching the pole to the back of the cart, we believe you’re looking for an M6 Thumb Screw and M6 Barrel Nut.

There’s also a chance you only need to add a couple metal washers for a better fit. This will often prevent the pole from slipping.

We hope to cover more on this common need soon. If you have info to share, please let us know by sending an email to zucamods@gmail.com

GRIP TAPE

Wrap your stock handle with Rubber Handlebar Tape or Cloth Hockey Tape for a better grip.

Choose a color or compare brands after clicking through to Amazon.

paracord

Para cord is another popular way to get a better grip. There are several wrapping styles, but we’ve heard the knife wrap featured in the video below works out well for most. You may be able to find para cord locally. There are too many color options to feature, but if you follow our link to Amazon below, you should be able to find your favorite color.

Plasti DIP

Spray your stock handle, available in many colors.

bicycle handle components

With a pair of bicycle handle grips to install on the stock handle, you’ll have a spare or one to give to someone else with a cart at league. Bar ends are a good replacement for the stock handle. Or go all out, and build an entire bicycle handle bar like this…

If you go with a full handlebar configuration, you’ll need to purchase several components, and you’ll probably find that bicycle handle bars are wide. We suggest cutting both ends of the handle bars. You’ll also need to create a “flange” for the bicycle goose neck to attach to the Zuca pole. Some people have used a piece of garden hose or other rubber material and electrical tape.

Here are a couple of bar end options…

And if you’re looking for more mounting options, check out these handlebar extenders…

scooter handlebars

Scooter handlebars may also need to be cut to whatever width you desire.

canes

Disassemble the cane, move the “pin” to the bottom hole and insert into your cart.
